Over Thirty Years of Walls That Had to Be Right

The one thing no one else can say
Most suppliers make either the panels or the processing. TRUE makes both, so nothing is lost in the handover between two companies. That single fact changes what is possible on screen.
Both halves, one source
The panel logic and the control system come from one source. One team owns the whole signal path, from the driver IC on the module to the finished pixel, so nothing is lost in a handover between two companies.

The control system and the panels are married, calibrated and signed off at our own site in Kassel, which is why the finished display carries a German certificate of origin from the Chamber of Commerce. Research, support and service sit in the same building.
No foreign logic inside
Every part of the system that processes data is ours: the ERMAC processor, the LSC distributors, the receiving cards and the driver logic on the module. No foreign logic sits anywhere in the signal path. Where a network is classified, that is not a preference.
Reference grade accuracy
Panel and processing calibrated as one system reach a color and detail accuracy separate suppliers cannot. It is the standard the automotive design world expects every day.
From a space program to a world first in color
Most companies’ business cases are no rocket science. Ours literally started with it. The engineering behind TRUE began in 1992 as EKTA, with video engineers from a former space program, and continued as EKTA Vision in Germany. That lineage led to the first dvLED with its own control system in 1997, and in 2024 to the world’s first Pantone validated dvLED display solution. Today the same team delivers dvLED with DICOM Part 14 GSDF grayscale performance.

The whole signal path, owned by one team
From the LED surface, whether COB, MIP, SMD or IMD, through to the ERMAC control system, every link is TRUE’s own engineering. At its heart sits the Color Space Engine, which holds a Pantone validated reproduction across brightness levels and across production batches, so the signal you send stays untouched all the way to the pixel.

What makes TRUE Performance different from other dvLED suppliers?
The panel logic and the control system come from one source. Almost every supplier owns only one half, either the panel or the controller, so the two have to meet somewhere in the middle. We engineer them as one product, and that is what reaches reference grade color and detail accuracy.
Does TRUE really make both the LED panels and the control system?
The logic does, and that is the part that decides the picture. ERMAC, the LSC signal distributors, the receiving cards and the module driver logic are all ours, refined over more than thirty years. The finished display is then married and calibrated in Kassel. It is one calibrated signal path, not two vendors meeting in the middle.
Why does controlling both the panel and the processing improve image quality?
Color and detail accuracy depend on the panel and the processing working as one calibrated system. When one company designs both, calibration runs the whole way through. That is why fields where color has to be exact, such as automotive design, rely on TRUE.
Where is TRUE Performance based, and where is the product made?
